Relationships, Nine Short-Short Stories

LSSU's Theatre Company continues its run of Relationships, Nine Short-Short Stories, Nov. 13-15 in the Arts Center Black Box Theater, room 262. The stories are by Pulitzer Prize winner Hughes and other well-known writers such as Grace Paley, David Ordan, Mary Robison, Arturo Vivante, Robert Fox and Steven Schutzman. Tickets at the door are $10 for general admission and $5 for students with valid ID. All shows are at 7:30 p.m. Sponsored by Lake State Theatre Company, Drama Club, and College of Scial Sciences, Arts and Humanities.

International Night

As part of International Education Week in the US, Nov. 17-21, Lake Superior State University is celebrating International Night with an evening full of speakers, music and performances in the Arts Center. Admission is free, although donations are welcome for the Carol Barras Endowed Memorial Scholarship and the International Studies Scholarship at LSSU. For more information click here.

LSSU Chorus Recital

LSSU Sings! The LSSU Chorus and Musical Theatre Ensemble will be performing a showcase of choral pieces and Broadway hits. Highlights include songs from Avenue !, Guys and Dolls, The Wizard of Oz, and more. Directed by Karen Hughes. This event is free and open to the public!

The LSSU Dance Company and Dance Students will be performing. Tickets will be available at the door.

Holiday Christmas ClassicsDecember 14, 2:00pm
Holiday Christmas Classics

Christmas and holiday music for the whole family. Performer's include LSSU Chorus, STARS Youth Chorus and Youth Orchestra. The finale will be the Hallelujah Chorus. Tickets are $10 and $5 for students. Seating will be general admission so be sure to arrive early to get your choice of seat. Proceeds will benefit the Arts Center programs and STARS music education.

      

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased conveniently on the web using the link at the top of this page; or by calling (906) 635-2602; or at the Norris Center ticket office between 9:00am and 4:00pm Monday through Friday.  On the day of events, the Arts Center box office will also be open Noon-4:00pm, and will re-open 1 hour before the beginning of the event.  Please buy tickets in advance and avoid the long lines at the door.
