Applying for Financial Aid
Applications for Admissions should be submitted to the University as soon as possible and must be on file by March 1 to be considered for priority aid consideration.
In most cases scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of competitive examinations, scholastic records, and/or financial need.
The American College Test (ACT) is the University's primary test for scholarship applicants.
Test results must be on file by March 1.
Students applying for financial aid should complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
These forms may be obtained from local high schools or online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
The form must be received by March 1st for students to be considered for priority aid.
Loan Processing Deadlines
Due to the processing time, loan requests can not be honored during the last two weeks of the semester.
Please submit any requests for alternative or direct loans to the LSSU Financial Aid Office before the last two weeks of the semester.
Geoff works as a paramedic for Kinross EMS. During holidays and school breaks he works in the Detroit metro area for Medic One Ambulance and Hart Medical EMS as a paramedic for both agencies. [ more ]
